Who is your comic inspiration? I have so many. Actually, Kathleen Madigan was the first woman I ever saw that worked the road and was funny, without male bashing and typical "chick" humor. Dom Irerra, Rodney Dangerfield, Red Foxx, and Robin Harris - just to name a few. When did you know you were funny? Where I grew up, sarcasm and cut downs were the thing. I grew up with all brothers and male cousins and boys from the neighborhood, so I had to learn to dish out as much as they gave to me. When people would recall my caps (we called it cappin' on one another), that's when I knew words are deadly! What was your worst stand-up gig ever? I have worked my way to the middle. I can remember doing my first paid gig with Jim Wiggins at a bowling alley for $50.00. They didn't even stop bowling!!! Tell us a little more about yourself - hobbies, annoying habits, pet peeves etc. My pet peeves are liars, fake personas, foot fungus, and IMs. |
