OUIJA BOARD FAQ'S
HOW TO USE THE "OUIJA BOARD" Two or three people are recommended for using the board. More can be a bit too crowded. The general feeling is that three is the right amount for a seance. *Form a circle, around the board, with all participating members, *Link hands, with left hands on top of right hands. *Recite any prayers that you wish (recommended: The "Point of Light" and Psalm 23) *Have each person place two fingers upon the planchette. *Have someone standing by with a pen and paper to write everything down. *Ask questions such as "Would anyone like to come forth and talk?", "Spirit are you there?", "Spirit are you with us?" *Make sure only one person asks one question at a time so as to avoid confusion. *Never EVER ask for anything you do not wish to deal with. Do not do the typical stupid thing of asking for a "sign" that the spirit is really there. This WILL result in major "BAD RESULTS!" *If the board does not work, try swapping participants around, taking some participants hands off the planchette. *The planchette should start off by spinning circles, some say that this is the spirit trying to gain energy to communicate, some say it is the spirit finding it's way around the board. *If you do not understand what the spirit is trying to communicate to you, ask it to either repeat it or ask questions that will clearly define what you would like to know. The spirit should gladly participate. *If a spirit appears to be having trouble communicating, ask what you can do to improve the communication. between you, your seance parteners, and the spirit. *If a spirit points to "Good Bye" let it go. You never know what an angry spirit will do! *If you want to finish the seance, place the planchette on "Good Bye" and say that you are now leaving. Everyone should then remove their hands from the board and the table. The board will be closed. Sometimes spirits will show up as liars and deceivers, just like they were in human form. There aren't many out there like this but they are out there. Don't believe everything you are told. Or if you're told something, try to prove it to yourself. Try to find evidence to prove it. *When possible use letters like "U" for You, "R", for Are, "2" for To and so on. Quite often the spirits contacted simply use the initial of the person they are talking about (or talking to) instead of spelling out their name. *(Beware: It requires a lot of energy on both sides to have a seance. You may become very tired and weary. This is natural.)
IT'S NOT EVIL It is not evil. It's merely a board with some black letters and a planchette. If you go looking for evil or demons you might possibly get something unwanted such as that. These are not good at all. These are very mean and nasty and just may affect normal life as we know it. I've heard stories of people trying to invoke demons and the like. Do not even try this! They suddenly find members of their family having tragic accidents and suddenly developing terminal diseases with no ill effect to themselves. DON'T DO IT! It's not worth trying, but if you do be prepared to deal with what you bring on! This IS NOT fun. They are evil, serious and WILL cause you nothing but grief. Spirits that talk through the board are just like you and me except not in physical form. They deserve respect and should be treated well. Before you start asking what your future will be like, and questions about the spirits past, that's fine. NEVER ask how they died! This will bring back sad memories and will turn the spirit absolutely livid. Nothing will come from a board if you leave it lying around. You DO NOT need to burn it or throw it away if you have a bad experience. It cannot work without people making it work. ALWAYS include prayers amongst the circle of people involved in the seance to both OPEN and CLOSE the circle. It is a good idea to make sure you protect yourself before the seance begins with a few prayers.
COMMUNICATION DEVICES As with the devices that we use to communicate with "our friends,"(i. e. "telephone, etc.") a user of the Ouija Board may communicate with an entity or several entities who become "their friends." First time users will encounter an entity/entities purely by random chance. From then on, the entity/entities will be connected to that user through the Ouija Board whenever it is used.
A TERRIFYING FACT! Terrifying demons freed from other dimensions are preying on helpless human victims. And the gateway used by the grotesque monsters is being kept open by the innocent toying with Ouija Boards and other tools of the occult. Experts advise caution. They can possess the bodies of their victims and cause gentle, nonviolent people to commit outrageous crimes. They can take on other forms...some quite horrifying!.
DO'S & DONT'S WHILE USING THE BOARD Don't get drunk at a party and run to the graveyard down the street with the Ouija board under your arm to see what happens. This is akin to asking for possession. Do choose your partners carefully. Negativity, ridicule, or bad attitude can cause the board to not work at all, or worse, summon something equally negative that may be difficult to banish. Don't bark commands at the board. Ask questions politely and never laugh or ridicule answers that may seem ridiculous at first glance. Do keep your board partners down to a manageable number. 4 or less is the usual recommendation, with maybe one more to act as the recorder or scribe (a tape recorder will work for this, too). Answers that make no sense initially may reveal themselves to be extremely relevant later on. Don't try to call up a specific person, especially at first. This may pose an inconvenience for them, and it is also dangerous practice, as there are plenty of unfriendly entities just waiting for a chance to make a fool out of you. Do choose a comfortable and familiar place to use the board. Just as in everyday life, you are more apt to be successful and less apt to be a target when you are on your own, familiar turf. Don't continue with board usage if anyone in the group starts to feel anxious or afraid. Quietly ask the spirit to leave and put the board away. Be sure to say Goodbye and get a response before ending the session. As stated over and over in these pages, talking boards can be quite dangerous, especially if an entity is allowed to get a foothold. Do use the board at night, if at all possible. Nobody knows why it works better at night - it just does. Don't have multiple people asking questions. Choose a spokesman beforehand and have everyone else remain silent throughout to avoid misunderstanding and confusion. Do set the mood before your session. Soft background music is perfectly acceptable. Dim the lights and do a few minutes of quiet meditation before starting. A circle of candles (white or blue) around the table is a common practice for protection (be sure to close the circle afterwards), as is saying a prayer or chant beforehand, according to your own beliefs. Burning protection herbs as incense may also be of benefit, and carrying a favorite protection crystal or stone in your pocket if you have one is certainly not a bad idea. Don't believe everything the board tells you, but don't be openly critical or skeptical either. If you believe you are getting a crock of crap, end the session, say goodbye to the entity, and try again later. Do give the board time to work. Sometimes it takes a while for that planchette to start moving. One way to get the ball rolling is by slowly and deliberately circling the board with the planchette. You will know it when something takes hold and it starts to move on its own. NEVER leave the planchette on the board when you are not using it, and NEVER remove the planchette from the board while in use!! In conclusion, use common sense! Exclude friends who are negative, be respectful, take a few precautions to begin with, and you should have an experience to remember. Good luck, and be careful!
REMEMBER TO CLOSE!! If a spirit points to "good bye" let it go. If you want to finish the seance place the planchette on "Good Bye" and say that you are now leaving. Everyone should then remove their hands from the board and the table. The board will be closed. Once you open the gate, you have to close it or entities will continue to float around in an undeterred manner. A simple web search on 'banishing rituals' should provide you with a primer on what to do in order to secure your environment a little better.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Limit the experience to 3 hours a week or else you'll become an addict and consequently a slave to certain spirits. Cast the Circle before the session and close it afterwards. If you're Christian, keep a rosary close at hand. NEVER leave the planchette (message indicator) on the board if you aren't using it. If the planchette goes to the four corners of the board or repeatedly makes a figure eight, it means you have contacted an evil spirit. In these cases, quickly turn the planchette upside down and use it that way. If you feel anything threatening say goodbye and put the board up immediately. If you ever want to get rid of your board, DO NOT BURN IT! Break it into seven pieces, sprinkle it with Holy/Consecrated Water then bury it. It is ok to make your own board, it work s just the same, perhaps even better because it would be filled with your own energy! Choose a wood like birch or oak. A good board size is fifteen by twenty inches and at least a quarter of an inch thick to resist warping. Sand, stain and letter your board then coat it with clear lacquer or enamel. Feel free to embellish it with images of suns, moons, stars, pentagrams...Next, make the planchette out of wood or clear plastic. You might of course want to use a glass or a cup, in that case remember to hold them over candlefire before each session.
