As I sit here, listening to Blink-182-, eating a creamsicle, and WRITING my column, I ponder WHY people boo X-Pac. He is my idle. He didn't ever go wrong to answer your question.
People just dislike him, because they don't understand a TRUE heel. HHH just goes out and makes fun of the audience. Angle also did that as a heel. Thats not a heel, its cheap heat. X-Pac uses a headlock, why? He uses it to get the fans to hate him. ECW fans have a HATRED for the hold because its not Xtreme. Mick Foley became the Worlds most Hated ECW Character at one point with the headlock.
So why does X-Pac get bashed? I don't know, but somebody commented on his hair. How is was all greasy. Okay, thats about it. They are just looking for excuses. Gay tights? Than they say Chris Jericho is awesome. Seriously, Jericho and X-Pac are the exact same. Except for different finishers, Jericho and X-Pac have the same form of wrestling matches....repetition.
Jericho has never came up with a NEW move in the last year. The same, facebuster. The same STUPID moonsault. X-Pac, has taken a few more risks as of late. A flip over the top? X-Pac never took that risk. X-Pac has talent, oooh yeah. But its called the DX Curse. Thats right. The DX Curse.
Chyna-Shawn Michaels-HHH started off the DX Tradition. But when those twowrestlers became larger than life, they began the DX Curse. Road Dogg, firedfrom the WWF for drugs. X-Pac, getting the negative response from the fans.Billy Gunn, the negative heat, bad wrestling and an underpushing. Billy Gunn, X-Pac and Road Dogg could never make the same mark the orginal DX did.
So the fans hate them. They FAILED. In the essence, HHH ruined The New DX. He became such a superstar, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac could never reach that goal. So the fans HATE them. Its funny though, they are talented indivduals.
But by the WWF setting up three different groups, jobbers, mid card and main eventers, they have ruined DX. Another example? The Union, Test, Shamrock, Big Show and Mankind. Test, Shamrock and Big Show could never match-up to Mankind. Therefor they GAINED the curse. Its a curse widely spread.
N.w.O Curse. Hulk and Nash. The only BIG stars that were in the N.w.O, atlhough Sting, Savage, Big Show, Syxx (X-Pac), have gained the curse. Look, The Hardyz, Edge and Christian, and The Dudley Boyz. All reached fame and NEVER were in a stable.
You see, there is a STABLE curse. The Wolfpac. Hall, became drugged up. Sting, out of wrestling. Konnan, stuck in indy feds. DISQO, not picked up bythe WWF. See how it is? The STABLE CURSE.
You can not keep making stables, or they will RUIN the careers of the peoplealongside them in it. Although, The Alliance is a good example. RVD and SCSA and Booker T. The only 3 who really get reactions. Hurricane is moving upthough. Everyone else doesn't get booed. Why? The Stable Curse.
