4/2/03: Wrestlemania XIX. Goldberg? No thanks. Triple H, why do you do this? |
Hello, I, the complaining whore, have returned with yet another rant. Hope you're all happy..... even though pretty much no one goes to this site. Wrestlemania XIX: Ok, I'll admit I didn't see the whole thing so I can't comment too much on it but from what I did see (Brock Lesnar/Kurt Angle match) and from what I have read, I will say a few things. First off, before I saw the Brock/Angle match, I read that the crowd pretty much sucked. After seeing the main event, there's no denying it. The fans didn't seem to give two fucks about the final match. Kurt Angle, a man who wrestled with an extremely bad neck, and Brock Lesnar, a man who could have killed himself with that shooting star press recieved pretty much nothing but silence? C'mon! That match was great! Those fans really knew how to ruin a good thing. How the fuck could they sit there and not cheer? I mean, the only time they got vocal was during a high spot and all they said was "OOOOOOHHHHHH!" for two seconds and then went back to being mutes. Well, silent shitheads or no silent shitheads, the main event was a classic. I watched that match tones of times and I think after I finish this column, I'll load up my Windows Media Player and watch it again. Now what I do wanna know is why the World Tag Team title match was really put on Heat, and not 'mania. I mean, the WWE claims it was because they were strapped for time but seriously, that's gotta be bullshit. If they were so strapped for time, the Women's title match should have been on Heat! Hell, they should have put the Catfight on RAW or something. Why are RVD and Kane constantly getting screwed? I don't think it's fair at all. The people watching at home (notice how I don't bring up the fans in attendance. They probably didn't wanna be there anyways) didn't really wanna see that match. I'm sorry but in my opinion, women matches are boring. RVD is STILL over even after all the de-pushes he's recieved and they continue to fuck him! Not cool. RVD needs to go to the NWA TNA. At least there he'll get the push he deserves. Goldberg? No thanks. Ratings, people, ratings! That's why the WWE hired this egotistical bum. Sure he has real-life heat with that asshole Triple H, but at least Triple H paid his dues. Goldberg has not and probably will not. He believes he's bigger then the business itself and that everyone has to do as he says. Vince finally caved in to this big headed man's demands. Stupid, fuckin' stupid. Goldberg made an open statement of people he would not job to. Two of them being Triple H and Brock Lesnar. Now I can understand Triple H, because as I stated before, these two have real-life heat but not wanting to job to Brock? Why not? Probably because Brock would make him look bad, you know, 'cause Brock's the better wrestler and all. I think Goldberg actually might fear Lesnar. Hell, he may even fear Triple H. Rub him the wrong way and he'll ruin your career. So what Goldberg needs to do is watch himself out there in WWE Land. He says one wrong thing about either Triple H or Stephanie and he'll be jobbing to Spike Dudley, unless he walks before then. So eventually we're going to see two ego's clash. Triple H vs. the Jewish Austin (no offense to the jewish people out there). The one who comes out on top though will probably be Goldberg. I just wanna see where this whole Goldberg/Rock feud ends up. Will it last 1 month or 2? Feuds in the WWE don't last very long now-a-days. Remember the 80's and early 90's when feuds lasted for about 5 months to a year? Those were the days. Triple H why do you do this? What happened to the Hurricane on RAW last monday just pisses me off. The guy was finally getting a mini push only to have Triple H ruin it! A few weeks back, Rock put the Hurricane over, because the Rock is a good guy, but no, not Triple H. I was shocked that H allowed Hurricane to chokeslam him, but he barely jumped. Compare the chokeslam the Rock recieved to the one Triple H recieved and you'll notice a big difference. Rock sold that fuckin' move to hell, as to where Triple H did not. Why did Triple H even have this match with the Hurricane? No build up, no nothing. It was a "Just because" match. I think the real reason it was done was to ruin Hurricane's push and to make the Rock look weak. Think about it, the Hurricane goes over the Rock, a few weeks later, Triple H goes over the Hurricane. Now the Rock looks like a little bitch because he couldn't beat Helms and Triple H looks like a dominating monster because he could. How can some people NOT see the politics involved in that match? How come all the Triple H lovers can't come up with a good enough reason as to why he fought Hurricane the other night? POLITICS PEOPLE, POLITICS! OPEN YOUR FUCKIN' EYES! TRIPLE H IS A CANCER! So the question asked is why he does this and the answer is simple -- He's not going to let anyone, no matter how big or how small the push is, take ONE step in his spotlight. Triple H: Hey Hurricane, you're in my light. Hurricane: But I'm getting a push. Triple H: Oh no you're not! Feel the wrath of the TRIPLE H EFFECT..... DUN DUN DUN!! |
