CLUB NEWS!!
November 3, 2007
Members of PAST became a strong presense Hekate's Sickle this year. Sickle is an annual Celtic death festival hosted by Washington's largest Wiccan church, the Aquarian Tabernacle Church (ATC). We took up one whole cabin and hung our club banner over the door. Our own Jamie Freeman, who is an active member of the ATC, wrote the first draft of the festival's ritual drama and participated as staff and clan clergy. Our club members made many new connections and enjoyed a wonderful spiritual event. The ATC will soon be taking registrations for their Spring Mysteries Festival (SMF) which takes place in March. Iit is highly recommended that you attend if your budget can bear it. Photos of Sickle are coming soon to this website and the group mailinglist, also look for links to SMF registration forms in near future.

Outraged!
The long, ongoing battle over pagan legitimacy has acheived a substantial victory. Over the course of nearly a decade pagans have been engaged in a dispute with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs over our right to  inscribe our religious symbol, the pentacle, on goverment-issued memorial stones of fallen pagan soldiers. On April 23 of this year the two sides reached an agreement. Pagans memorial stones can now be inscribed with the symbol of our faith. Much thanks should be heaped on those of us that fought this battle, including members of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church (a wiccan church based in Index, WA).
