Many times when people are having a clearout and find a load of old dolls they just group them together and sell them off, without knowing very much about them. This often means that such lots have random other dresses are mixed in. They're usually pretty easy to spot though, as they're fashion doll dresses(as above), and not something a flower fairy would wear, but some are harder to spot, and some we just don't know(as apparently even Hornby don't have a complete list of what they made)! Before I saw boxed ones I originally thought Plum and Apple Blossom may be fake! |

At first some look possible, but after inspection they're very unlikely to be real!... |

Top is badly dyed and its stuck with glue (not a usual Hornby practice!) |
|
|
The fact that the clothes don't even fit makes it pretty clear that this outfit doesn't belong with a Hornby Flower Fairy. |

Similar feel silver material to star costumes, but style of dress doesn't fit as a Petal costume, a futuristic Star costume, or the old English style of Magic Mist |
