The Jack Union
The Jack Union may not be famous internationally and may not have any current videos, but are still a rising Canadain rock band. The five southern Alberta rockers grew up in two rival towns, two rival schools, and played on rival hockey teams, but that didn't stop them. They recorded thier debute album in Vancouver "A Fine Madness" and released it in the summer of 2001. The studio is where Bif Naked, Matthew Good Band, and even Nickelback have recorded. The first single "I Am" was added to Alberta stations in Lethbridge and Lloydminster and some as far way as Victoria, and Fredriction. The second single "The Stand" or better knowen as the hit "The Lie And Cries" was bigger then "I Am." The band got a chance to play in a huge concert in Camrose, Alberta, Stage 13. Stage 13 featured many great Canadian groups like Canada's current three biggwst rock groups The Tragically Hip, Nickelback, and Default. Also preforming was rap-metal group Project Wyze, Edwin & The Pressure, Flybanger, Rake, and more. They have also toured and preformed with Danko Jones, Edwin & The Pressure, Rake, The Headstones, Big Sugar, and Sasckatchewan's pride Wide Mouth Mason. The first 60 album copies of "A Fine Maddness" were sent to the Canadian hockey team in Salt Lake City. The album features songs like the hit "Attack Of The Mustard Man," "The Stand," "Way To L.A." "Fingers Grecho" "I Am" and more straightout rock tunes.
