(4-15) Sex And Fighting - When you see X2, don't expect to just see over the top fighting scenes... expect to see a little heat muster up between Logan 'Wolverine' and the fellow women mutantsl:

"There's a lot of sex going on. It's in my contract. There's sex everywhere!" Hugh Jackman said as he was discussing a scene in X2 involving his character, and Mystique. "I was a tough day at work. Three, almost naked women on top of me!" says Jackman. The scene called for Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and even Anna Paquin to lay on top of him in a tent, posing as the wild mutant, Mystique.

And what growth has Mystique gone through since X1? This time out, Mystique is scarier, funnier, and sexier.
"Mystique is like...she'd do 'em as fast as fight 'em." says Rebecca Romijn Stamos. "She's a sexual predator and that's what I like about her *laughs*"

(4-12) X2 Producer, Ralph Winter Interview -
XFan got the chance to interview Ralph Winter on the status of X2, the running time, the possibility of an X3, and more...

"Tonight we'll be screening the movie really for the first time to some press people. We have a few more shots to finish and polish. We're taking up every available minut that we can, before we have to make prints, just to polish some of these shots and make them look great. We're very, very happy. There's a nice feeling right now of the accomplishment at finishing. The music is spectacular, the story plays great, the effects are ground-breaking. We're feeling very, very good."

(4-09) Aaron Stanford Interview -
From the May Issue of Total Film:

How did the Pyro role come your way?

I was lucky enought to be in a film called Tadpole, which was a big hit at Sundance, and I went into the audition on the back of that.

Where you a fan of the comics?

I liked them. I was a particular fan of Wolverine, but then I think everyone was.

Did you remember Pyro from them?

Kind of. He was real peripheral. But he was very different in the comics to the film - I mean, he was Australian for one thing...

(4-08) Bryan Singer On X2, X3 -
X2 director, Bryan Singer should just be finishing the final touches on the film...or, he might already be done! Here's a great interview w/ him, from Dark Horizons. Bryan speaks on the troubles of X1, the greatness of X2, what he wants to do after the films release, and the possibility of an X3.

(4-01) Bryan Singer On Matrix 2 Battle -
X2 director, Bryan Singer isn't worried about the Matrix sequels stealing his thunder - as he believes the two movies are operating on different levels. The sequel to 2000's mega-hit movie X-Men is being release on May 2 and just two weeks later, the first of two follow-ups to 1999's The Matrix hits screens. But Singer says, "I think we're in a different world that The Matrix , and we're exciting in a different way, and we have different characters and a different tone. We operate in our own universe. We don't worry about Superman and Spider-Man and The Matrix and The Hulk." - IMDB's WENN

(3-24) X2 TV Spots! -
The mega-forced advertising for X2 has begun! The first tv spot was shown on MTV three time today so far. It runs just like the latest X2 trailer, showing each character's name and powers. While most of the footage was from the trailers, there were some great noticeable shots:

*New shots of Storm (Eyes white) summoning up some gale-force winds
*Magneto breaking out of his plastic prison (Plastic breaks everywhere) How does he do this!?!
*Quick new shots of Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Mystique...possibly others (It went relly fast).
*A GREAT shot of a jet breaking apart in the air. This is THE best shot! Great CGI!

(3-23) Silent, But Deadly -
Kelly Hu talked to the Target store magazine, Bullseye about her silent, but deadly character Deathstrike:

Making an unforgettable appearance (trust me on this) is Lady Deathstrike, a character as low-key and understated as her name would suggest. Played with beautiful menace by Kelly Hu (who has been seen in the Jet Li/DMX film Cradle 2 The Grave), Deathstrike is essentially a female Wolverine, except she is deffinently not on the good guys side.
"I have only one line in the entire film," notes Hu, admitting that at first she was bummed about this. "Then I was assured that Rebecca Romijn-Stamos also had only one line in X-Men, and she was one of the most memorable characters in the whole film."

(3-14) Shawn Ashmore On The Last Week Of Filming -
From Wizard:

The final week of shooting has finally arrived. My last day was actually three days ago at the sound stages. We wrapped after a really great stunt that Anna had been training to do for months. It's always a bit tense when an actor has to do a stunt instead of a trained stunt person, but Anna pulled it off amazingly, being the trooper that she is! Being pulled around in a harness is no easy task! What a great way to finish the shoot!

Anyway, that lead me to explaining why I'm now in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. Even though I wrapped last week, they still brought me out here to hang out with everyone for the last section of shooting. That's the kind of set I was lucky enough to work on. After six months of working with people so closely, it's a bit hard to say goodbye. Of course, it'll be nice to be home, but the X-perience is one I'll never forget!
