Shadows Of Fortune Top Ten Denver Shadowrunners
Number 7 - Magnitude
Magnitude, like her name, gives the picture of large, mean, powerful.  And this is exactly what she is.  Fractured warrior champion on more than one occasion, the power the female ork has shown is matched by her grace and speed as well.  Lethal with a pistol as she is with her fists, one of the rumours going around about her is that she is a long lost relative of Wyatt Earp (No, not the sim star of 2047, go read your history books). Magnitude has actually turned down at least as many jobs as she has performed, making her a rather particular worker.  Showing signs of professionalism beyond her experience, Magnitude is quickly cementing herself as one of the better runners in Denver.  Her profile was raised after saving a passenger airline from Spanish seperatists, in which she stepped infront of a fireball meant to destroy the plane, asking the question of magical augmentation in the young Ork woman.  Expect great things from this one.
Number 6 - Jase
Jase has been described by more than one person as a 'Magical Punching Bag', testimate to the fact that mages dont have to be weak.  Tough as a coffin nail and with an attitude to match, Jase uses his abilities to take and deal out damage to be one of the front line mages that a runner team always searches for but never finds.  Resourceful with his abilities, Jase has used his spells and strengths on more than one occasion to seriously tip an unfriendly playing field to a favourable slant. He is however thought to be mildly psychotic, and this may lead to the man being somewhat unpredictable at times, and his excessively large store of courage sometimes acts against him.  Certainly someone to keep an eye out for, Jase is number 6.
Number 5 - Silent Feather, Rigger
This is something we dont see often at SOF.  Rigger's just arent as respected, and sort of like Deckers...sure, they're very good at what they do, but its just not the same when you're sitting in a room or van several miles from the action, plugged into all sorts of heavy machinery and military hardware.  However, Silent Feather deserves her spot on this list due to the sheer finesse she has shown, and the amount of work she has been involved in over the last 18 months in the Treaty City.  Her major drawback (aside from being a no good rigger...kidding, EsEff!) is her moralistic integrity, which limits the types of work she has done.  Also, things which people just assume riggers have....military hardware and trasport, for example...are lacking from the riggers inventory and with these two factors, the amount of work Silent Feather turns down hampers her viability as the most valuable runner out there, relegating her to number 5 spot.
Number 4 - Geist
Geist has a reputation of being tough and willing to sacrifice himself, and he has lived up to this on more than one occasion.  Loyal to a fault with his teammates, he's almost as bad as the Airborne Rangers for never leaving a man behind.  Rumours abound to where Geist (German for Ghost) got his talents, but many point towards the UCAS Government, which explains his animosity towards them and to a lesser extent, Ares.  Priding himself on not being seen there is talk of not only his abilities at break, entering, close combat and innumerable talents at the controls of many vehicles, but also of his midwife skills.  However, he's also known to be rather impulsive, with a short temper.  These faults have lessened with experience, but they still haunt him to an extent.  For a government trained worker, his disposition away from killing is somewhat of a suprise, and this, combined with his hatred of Ares and the UCAS government, limits him in his employment.  He's been quiet (pun intended) in recent times, and sources tie him to the Innocenti family, one of the major underworld powers in Denver, as a reason for this.
