  • Evening everyone. I added 3 more clips to Ides of March. One of the clips includes the apology scene with Xena and Gabs. I point that out because someone had requested this clip so I wanted that person to be aware it is available now. :) I think I should be able to finish Ides tomorrow and possibly Livia as well. *fingers crossed*

  • Mary D has as well posted an article from the Sunday Star Times about Lucy bungee jumping in support for fighting child abuse. Check it out, she also has a great photo of Lucy bungeeing as well! Have a good one!

  • I added five more clips to Ides of March today. Unfortunately due to work that was all I was able to post today. I will add more tomorrow probably later evening though.

  • And Melissa Good writer of Xena's Coming Home and Legacy posted to her Merwolfpack list today this note on Renee!:

Well - I have a few more details for those folks heading off to Comic -Con.

Renee is going to be at the Creative Light Entertainiment booth. Time - is yet uncertain. She will be making a mockumentary for them in September, a behind the scenes look at a reality television series. (side note, I'm laughing already)

If I hear any more interesting details, like say, what time of day... I'll pass it along.

  • Ok I had issues with the S1 Bloopers. The file was just too large and Tripod finicky. So I am trying to make clips of the larger file as I do not have the original source. A friend sent me the file. I will work on that and try to get it up as soon as I can. In the place of it I made a clip of Kit #6's Bloopers. Unfortunately these ones are not from S6 but from earlier season but funny as hell in anycase.

  • As well I added three clips for Ides of March. I been not able to do much at all of what I would of liked to do on my website and in regards to media with real life being too hectic and my daughter sick with what I had. :( So I apologize for that. What can I say, it is summer and lots to do. :P

  • Good evening everyone. I added a clip of the Season One Xena Bloopers. The file is about 16 megs so it is a large download. These bloopers are very funny though. I also added four more clips to Ides of March and will add more tomorrow to Livia and Ides. Sorry I did not update yesterday but I had issues logging into my Geocities account so I was unable to. Someone also requested Season 6 Bloopers. I will try and get those up soon. I just want to finish up Ides and Livia first and a bit more housekeeping. If you have issues getting any clips just email me at xena2010 with an email account that can allow clips hat are as large as 5 megs at least or an icq, yahoo or AOL messenger account that I can tranfer files to you. Also let me know the files that you are trying to acquire and I will see what I can do. :)

  • Also the rumour that was listed earlier about Relic Hunter having a Xena based episode is apparantely untrue. Sharon contacted Rob Tapert and he called it a "total lie and fabrication." Ahhh It figures ;)

  • And Mary D has an article up from The People an Irish Newspaper regarding Lucy Lawless and the Female Warrior Seriescurrently that had her located in Ireland. The aricle talks about the Warrior Grace O'Malley and talks about Lucy as a person. Good article :)

    June 15th

  • I added three more clips for Livia and three more to Ides of March. I am sorry for the lack of daily updates. I ended up relapsing and became pretty sick again but I think I am finally over the hump. The bloopers I was going to add, I am not happy with the conversion from avi to Windows Media, so I want to re-encode them before posting them. I will definitely be updating tomorrow. I want to thank all those who emailed me to get better, it helped alot :)

  • Renee last week went out and supported the fighter fighter's burn fund relay in Long Beach and Mary D has images and a video of her participation in the event! So head over to her page and check it out! :)

  • And there looks like there will be a Relic Hunter/Xena Crossover!:

The following is from ComingSoon.Net web site

Xena and Relic Hunter Crossing over?
Source: Tellyaddict Thursday, June 12, 2003

Rumor has it that a televised Relic Hunter movie focussing around the Xena chakram is planned for next summer. According to Cult Times, Sydney Fox will uncover the weapon and two lost Xena scrolls. In a recent interview, Lucy Lawless exclaimed-"Me and Tia always wanted to have the two series' merge, but then Xena ended".

It is unclear yet whether Lucy Lawless herself will appear in the movie, which will feature references to Xena episodes. Tia Carrere said: "It's very exciting. It's never been done before. We're taking an established series and weaving a narrative around it". Rob Tapert- executive producer of Xena- has said that this will not hinder chances of a fully-fledged Xena movie in the future.

    June 11th

  • I added three clips to Livia. I wanted to do this sooner but unfortunately I caught some bad bug and been very sick for the last three days now. Never kiss runny nosed kids on the lips. You will get sick! :P In any case I will be adding more to Ides of March and Livia tomorrow as well as S1 Bloopers.

  • The following is from Sharon Delaney/Creation Entertainment:

Renee will begin filming an independent feature-length film called "Diamonds and Guns" early this summer. It will be shot in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Directed by Chris Dollard, with a script by Dawn Higginbotham (from a story by Dawn and Helena Beaven who are producing their first full-length film), it is a comedy about two friends -- from America and New Zealand -- who go to Las Vegas to find true love. It is being shot digitally with an eye toward film festivals and future distribution.

Renee said, "I chose this script out of all the ones I've been looking at because it was one of the funniest I'd read. It has an energy on the page which I hope translates to the screen and the audience. It came to me by way of Aaron Morton who did the lighting on "Dangerous Prey," the Xena episode I directed. Aaron did the lighting on a movie called "Nemesis Game" and introduced me to the guys who wrote, produced and directed that movie. They in turn introduced me to Helena. It all began with Xena."

  • The following is from Sharon at Creation Entertainment:

Lucy and Renee: The Early Years videotapes are in house and are being mailed in the next two days. When Lucy and Renee first began appearing at our conventions, I thought it might be a good idea to videotape them -- just to be able to look back and reminisce. So, I went out and bought a camcorder. Lucy and Renee thought it was a good idea, too. And they got copies of all their conventions. When we asked if we could release that footage, they agreed. It's time to share with all the fans that weren't able to attend at the time and the newcomers who missed out. The camera is a little shaky at times and the color isn't spot on, but the excitement is all there.

THE EARLY YEARS videotape: Available from Creation Entertainment http://www.creationent.com/xena/

    NTSC - $29.95 USD
    PAL - $37.97 USD

I've cut down the fan questions to the basic question they were asking or removed them entirely if the answer stood on its own. And sometimes things were repeated from one convention to another, i.e. what's you favorite episode? I removed entirely the interviewer at the Santa Monica show. If you were there, you know she asked questions that were so old, even Lucy groaned --- "So you're from New Zealand?"

Here are some of the highlights:

1997 -- Lucy in Burbank -- the only one I didn't record myself. A TV camera caught the beginning of the convention. Her very first and she was astounded by the reception she received. But we've got her reacting to the audience suggestion she sing "Corn" from her first TV sketch comedy series, Funny Business. And her astonishment that they knew about that song! The opening lines of "Deep In the Heart of Texas" and "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts." Her take on the difference between New Zealand and American cultures. Commenting on her real hair color -- "It's mouse, okay, it's mouse!" And one of the most intriguing questions that resulted in her talking about her journey to discover her femininity.

1997 -- Renee in Valley Forge. Renee as a con virgin! She just couldn't understand why so many people showed up! We heard stories about Tobias the donkey, marinated octopus and, her favorite food, fried green pickles! She leads the audience in the Porky Pig dance she did when she worked at an amusement park. Someone hands her a staff and she gives a twirling demonstration. She jokes about Gabrielle having her own talk show. And then there was the debate with the audience about who was the best kisser on the show --Ted, Bruce or . . . Lucy! The highlight was Lucy calling from her dressing room on Broadway during Grease. Lucy was talking in a funny voice that not only disguised who it was from the audience, but also Renee -- until she gave the Xena yell. Brought the house down! Lucy and Renee talk about upcoming season three episodes and warn the audience that the friendship will be undergoing some rough times. Renee mentions that Lucy was feeling very protective of her because Lucy thought the fans might be mad at Gabrielle.

1998 -- Lucy in Burbank. This time we have Lucy attempting a Callisto scream and throwing a frisbee across the room. She talks about, and immediately falls into, the character of Meg. Mentions "someone who will not be named" hitting stunt people with her staff. Answers a question about her personal philosophy. There's talk of Xena's boyfriends and what part they played in the show. And laughingly tells how that nice girl from Texas has learned to give as good as she gets when it comes to being teased by New Zealanders.

1999 -- Lucy in Santa Monica. There are stories about Donald Trump's slippers, Renee and cabbages, more Meg, Lucy going "Afro" at a party and Xena shopping at the mall. And it opens with someone asking about Renee getting her haircut. She denies that Renee cut her hair. When the audience heaves a sigh of relief, she whispers, "I did it" and brings the house down.

  • Sorry I haven't updated for a long while. First my sound card was causing issues. Then my monitor went and I had to get a nice new used one. But I am back up and going. So today I added clips for Legacy and three for Livia as requested by Xenites. I will be adding more to Livia tomorrow and housecleaning more now that my tech issues are finally over. :) Have a good night!
