Lieutenant Alex and Muller

Alex and Muller were both OZ officers operating in Africa against the remnants of the Alliance, mainly in Somolia. They were both trained at the Lake Victoria Military Academy, under the same instructor, Lucrezia Noin. However, unlike Noin, they preferred using harsh tactics to beat their enemies. Usually they never take prisoners and never accepting their surrender, always annihilating and killing everybody. Alex was codenamed "Red Cancer", and Muller was "Blue Angel", and Alex always preferred going in in a red Cancer, and Muller always in his Aries. After striking yet another base, they were running short on supplies, and they had to go to Lake Victoria to pick up their supplies. But to their amazement they found out that there were no experenced soldiers stationed there anymore. Muller was furious, but Alex smiled and said that they could "use" Colonel Zechs as a shield and attack the well-armed Alliance base at Mogadishu without suffering a lot of damage. So Zechs went with them, as their subordinate in his new MS, the Tallgeese.

But as Zechs soon found out to his horror how Alex and Muller operated, he was furious with them and thought that they disgraced OZ, so he got rid of them. Afterwards, he wrote a letter to Noin saying how it was a mistake to teach students only combat skills and not human character... "Wars truly are heartless indeed..." -Zechs Merquise
