Key to understanding OZ serial numbers...

Yeah, you've been thinkin', what the heck is the MMS for in the Pisces serial number??? Or maybe: Are the numbers just random? Well, Redcomet is here to give you a theory on mobile suit serial numbers... with a little help from Gundam Project. ^_^

Well, here's the key to what the last numbers in the serial numbers mean: (i.e. The MS part in OZ-00-MS)

If it says...

AMS- Aerial mobile suit (only the Aries has this)

LMS- Land mobile suit (The Tragos has this)

MS- Normal mobile suit (i.e. the Tallgeese)

MMS- Marine mobile suit (Like the Cancer and Pisces)

SMS- Space mobile suit (only the Taurus has this)

MD- Mobile Doll (i.e. the Virgo)

The first two letters means the organization that this paticular mobile suit is with. (i.e. MMS-01-MS Serpent) The Serpent is with the Mariemeia Army. But sometimes it's different number for a different organization. For example, the Serpent with Mariemeia is MMS-01-MS, but the mobile suit, OZ version, is OZ-17-MS. The numbers probably mean the order they were developed. Another educational guess from Redcomet! ^_^ Well, if you already heard this, well, here's it to ya' again.
