OZ-12-SMS Taurus

This mobile suit was the first mobile suit with a mobile doll system that entered combat. This mobile suit was first made as a replacement for the aging Leo Space Type, which was slow and couldn't fight well in space. This suit could be fitted with OZ's new mobile doll system, or it can be piloted by a regular pilot. But draging the Taurus up to outer space was not an easy task. First, they were built at the Lake Victoria Military Academy, but Wufei and the Gundam Shenlong attacked the base, and the Tauruses were forced to evacuate to a secure place. Then it was to be taken up to Siberia to be sent to outer space. The Gundams attack this operation and that's exactly what OZ wants them to do. It turned out to be a failed mission for the Gundams, and pilot Heero Yuy is presumed dead afterwards. They finally get the Tauruses into outer space for OZ's takeover and the Alliance Leos are overwhelmed by the mobility of this suit. Like one Alliance pilot says, "8 g's?!? What kind of superhuman is piloting this?!?" Actually, it was a Taurus mobile doll. The Taurus Space mobile suit is only armed with a beam rifle, but it can also be equipped with the more powerful beam cannon. It's speed makes up for the lack of armorments on this suit. This mobile suit can also transform into a flight mode and there it's beam rifle is placed on it's back, like a fighter. This mobile suit is used by several other organizations, such as the new Sanc Kingdom, with it's white Tauruses, and also the uprising White Fang, with a nasty brownish-red color... The Taurus is reliable for the rest of the series, and is probably mass-produced till the end of the war.
