OZ-17-MS or MMS-01-MS Mobile Suit Serpent

The Serpent was designed by OZ in the year A.C. 195, and it was to be a replacement for the aging Leo. This mobile suit, like the Leo, could operate in almost any envirorment, and was well armed. The armor chosen for this mobile suit is Neo-Titanium alloy. This metal is almost as strong as Gundanium, and is very lightweight. So this makes the Serpent very manuverable. The Serpent was armed with a deadly double-barreled gatling gun, and also 16 homing missiles, and can also be armed with a beam cannon or a bazooka. This is almost the equivalent of the Heavyarms Kai! The Serpent was to be OZ's last in the line of the "Zodiac Series". But in the later part of A.C. 195, the Barton Foundation seized production lines of the Serpent and planed to use the suit in their uprising and Operation Meteor. This suit was to be the backbone of the Mariemeia Army. The suit was piloted by volunteers with intentions to fight. Since weapons were banned after the war of A.C. 195, the pilots were searching for a way to exsist, and joining the Mariemeia Army, it seems, was their answer to all their problems. Most of the Serpents were piloted by former members of OZ and the White Fang. One of the pilots was Trowa Barton. But he was working undercover for the Gundam pilots to try to stop Operation Meteor, and had a nasty encounter with Duo. To try to hide his identity, he had to defeat Duo. And so he did. An old Space Leo does not stand a chance against the new Serpent. As Duo will find out.
