OZ-00-MS2B Mobile Suit Tallgeese III

The Tallgeese III was developed and built prior to the Eve Wars by former OZ leader and World Nation representative Trieze Kushrenada. The Tallgeese III, following the Epyon, had a considerable influence from the Epyon. Trieze blended in the features of three suits to make the Tallgeese III, the Epyon, Tallgeese, and Wing Zero. But unlike the Epyon and the Wing Zero, the Tallgeese III did not have a Zero System. This was to be Trieze's personal suit in the Eve Wars, however, it was not completed in time, and Trieze was forced to take the remaining parts from the Tallgeese to put together the Tallgeese II. But the Tallgeese III was completed, and after the war, it was picked up by former White Fang leader and OZ ace Zechs Merquise. The Tallgeese III was a superb machine, featuring the usual two beam sabers of the original Tallgeese and also the Heat Rod from the Epyon, although the shield for the heat rod was larger on the Tallgeese III. But the most standing feature of the Tallgeese III was it's massive beam cannon on it's right arm. It's firepower matched the Wing Zero's Buster Rifle. The other features on the mobile suits were the same as the original Tallgeese, and the output on the vernier engines were increased.

After Zechs picked up the Tallgeese III, war broke out in the colony X18999 with the rebels of the Mariemeia Army. Zechs took the Tallgeese III to Earth and became a preventer, then with the Tallgeese, destoryed the natural resources satelite MO-III with just one blast. (MO-III was where the Mariemeia Army mobile suits were stored, and where Dekim Barton, the ringleader, was.) But Dekim managed to escape. Zechs then took the Tallgeese III down to Earth to fight the Mariemeia army on land with his partner, Noin. (See? Noin was right all about Zechs being alive. ^_^) The Tallgeese III, like the Gundams, was probably destoryed after the war.

But I have my own theory about why they put the Tallgeese III there in the OAV instead of something like the Epyon custom for Zechs. (Now that would be cool!) It was because I guess it goes with the tradition in Gundam, and there were suits that reminded the viewer about the character. (i.e. the Deathscythe and Duo) So instead of the rebel of a suit Epyon, Zechs fit into the Tallgeese well. So that was probably the reason that Sotsu Agency and Sunrise put another Tallgeese in there instead of the Epyon, and besides, could the Epyon have survived? Now there's a theory... How did Zechs survive anyway?
