knows many of the normal card tricks and slight of hand from years of practice as a child but his powers allowed him to bypass years of practice and training. His favorite thing about his powers is that he is the only magician alive to stump the magic debunkers, the guys who go around and explain away how all the tricks were done.
History: Born as David Loch, the young magician started young on what would be his calling. Proved to be a quick study and when his powers manifested, he made leaps and bounds in the development of his stage skills. He has been a stage magician for many years and was the star of many TV specials and stage shows. When the Friends of Humanity began to attack him both during shows and off stage, he went into hiding where he was discovered by the X-Men. He joined them both out of a need for protection but a desire to increase his own skills with his mutant gifts.
With the outbreak of the Legacy Virus, he has not only become a member of the team, but has also become a teacher at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. He finds it harder to teach than to preform but he's slowly growing into the role. |
