One can play characters from the X-Men movie and X-Men universes (except MC2), but non-movie characters must be introduced into the movie story line. You are allowed a total of 6 permanent characters that can include a maximum of 3 Canon. Also, at least half of your characters should be of the opposite sex to keep a balanced ratio.
Submit ALL character requests and inquires to the List Owner. Do NOT post them to the list. You should receive a Character Submission Form automatically upon joining the RPG. If you do not get it, you can find this form in the Files section of the actual game site.
Finally, do NOT start playing until your character has been approved. Upon approval, you will have one week in which to get your character into play.
Canon: These are characters already established in Marvel's X-Men universes. Please do not request a Canon character unless you WILL play it on a regular basis. Failure to do so will cause you to forfeit that character and it will be given to someone else.
Created: These are characters that you create yourself for play and you must make them realistic in the X-Men movie universe.
NPCs: Are non-permanent characters and as such, can be killed. You can have up to 6 NPCs unless you get permission to have more. NPCs are also available for anyone to take as a permanent character, but only by request and as long as you do not exceed your allotted permanent character limit. Please notify the List Owner with your inquiries.
Temps: These are Canon characters that for some reason or another are being played on a temporary basis. If you request to temp a Canon character, keep in mind; if someone requests that character permanently, you must give it up. |
