Distinguishing Features: Tabitha has a 1 1/2 inch thick celtic design arm band tattoo around her right bicep.
History: Tabitha has a sorted past she had rather not remember. As a thirteen year old girl she adopted the nickname "Boom-Boom," and had not gotten along with her parents for most of her life. Tabitha's superhuman power to create balls of explosive concussive energy, which she calls her "time bombs," emerged when she was thirteen; and when her parents discovered them, they were appalled. Resentful towards her father, Tabitha put a small explosive ball of energy into his lasagna. In retaliation, her father beat her severely. Apparently, her father also beat her on many other occasions after he discovered her mutant powers, thus forcing Tabitha to pack up and ran away.
For a long time she was a part of a gang of theives called The Fallen Angels, lead by the mutant criminal Vanisher. But she tired of that lifestyle and wanted to make a better life for herself. With a vow not to steal anymore, she left to try to lead as normal a life as she possible. She managed for a few long years, but ultimately she failed. Then somehow she learned of a school for mutants in New York's Westchester County (which was, in fact, Professor Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and the headquarters for the X-Men) which prompted her to turn to the last place she thought she could get help.
Tabitha announced her arrival at the X-Mansion by breaking into it one night and immediately got on Wolverine's bad side. But since then she has adopted the moniker Meltdown and became Rogue's roommate. The two girls have developed a close friendship even despite Tabitha's propensity to constantly get into trouble. She's a loud mouth and a prankster, known to plant little harmful explosions here and there just to get on peoples nerves, and she's always up for new things and a new adventures. Sometimes Tabitha's mouth and her temper get the best of her, but over all she'll always be there when the chips are down to support her team.
