A.1. Course Description:
This course will cover how web technology has
significantly changed our business world. Included are design tools,
software, and hardware and how they are incorporated in network systems.
Knowledge of how to manage a network from a business point of view is an
important decision-making strategy. Basic foundations of network security,
integrity, reliability, encryption, decryption, internet protocols, and
servers will be discussed. Discussion of Operating Systems like Windows XP,
Linux, Mac and Web Servers such as IIS and Apache Servers will also be
discussed.

majors and everyone else.

Course Objectives:
This course will cover the basics of Web System, and the development of
network and management in current business field. This course is designed to
provide hands on experiences to the students on the current web
technologies. This course will also introduce contemporary notions of
network and evaluate existing business strategies, which are using for
accomplishing success in web technology businesses. The objective of this
course is for students to understand different Web technologies and systems.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to design
web-site using marketing and commercial principles.
C. Mode of Instruction:
The class consists of both lecture and lab.
During the lab, there will be demonstrations using Internet and web
technologies.
D. Student
Responsibilities:
- Each student will be expected
to complete project
- There will be a test, midterm
and final exam.
- Students must plan to spend a
minimum of two (2) hours per week outside of the class working with
computer.
