This is Rusty, the famous little shelter rescue that introduced us to the sweet personality of a good natured beagle! As you read in the dog story, his time with us was short - but sufficient to hook us on beagles! Rusty was killed Christmas week 1995.
Here is pretty little Casey in all her puppy splendor! And those ears are as soft as silk! She came to live with us at 6 months old. She would ease several broken hearts 2 days before Christmas '95. Our vet located the man who owned her and raised beagles. So, with Rusty's untimely passing, Casey wove her way into our hearts.

She is really a mess! In May she turned 4 years old. My, how time flies! She's still quite energetic and puppylike in her behavior. Her favorite pastime is eating - she lives to EAT!!!!!

Sweet Boy! This is typical collie nature - baby Katelyn is right up in his face while he enjoys his bone, yet he is gentle and unagressive toward her. This is why I LOVE collies!

Casey and Rebel are pretty good buddies EXCEPT at suppertime. Casey is such a chow
hound that poor Rebel has to have someone stand guard to insure he gets his supper!
