CHANGES TO THE SITE

This is stuff that may affect the way you navigate!

Be prepared!

1. The most obvious change is that XTerminal is now a fine, upstanding member of the Internet Link Exchange. In return for my immortal soul and some exposure, I have agreed to host ILE banners on four of my pages (main, live, tech, and context). This may also spread to the mp3.com page if my initial contact with these guys is worthwhile.

2. The XTerminalSOUNDS page has gone the way of the great Auk. I’m not keeping mp3 files here, they’re all staying over at mp3.com. Therefore, the SOUND link takes you to http://www.mp3.com/xterminal. This will kill the top frame, because I didn’t write all that “offsite” HTML code. My experience is that hitting the BACK button from there will take you back to the redirector. Your mileage may vary.

3. Speaking of, what do you think of the new redirect page? I was sickened when I found out those black billboards are a national campaign, obviously financed by some insanely rich psycho religious nut. This is only the beginning of the backlash. Trust me.

4. Though it’s not up yet, I’m working on a links page. Rather like the ILE program, I would like to start up a banner-exchange program with other bands, not just in the noise community but from every genre. If you’d like to be a part of it (or if you think it’s a completely shitty idea and has no chance at all of succeeding), email me and let me know.

5. No, the context page hasn’t been changed much yet. Sorry. I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with it.
