Pets: Seth, a old rotwieler(sp? O_o) Personality: Things change, as do people, once Maya was a happy go lucky girl with everything in the world she could ever want, but soon, that was all changed. She became emotionally challenged, as her sister liked to call it. She didn't quite like showing people how she felt or even if she cared for them. This became even more true after her son, Kenji, died. After that she cut herself off completely, well almost, there were only a few people that could get through to her and make her smile. But those people were far and few between. And after she learned that her son was still alive, she became extremely careless. Wandering into battles, trying to get information on her son and just ending up in trouble. Now, the commander of this regions Back Draft unit, Maya is harsh. Though she is not heartless. She cares about her members and will try to help them however she can, but she is the commander and does expect to be listened to. Her mind set on the BDO group is that she dislikes them, there is no doubt in that, but she will put up with them, using her position as leader to get her son back, at whatever the cost. History: Maya was born into a well-known family in a large city north of Tallarn. Her mother(Alexia), father (Markus) and older brother (Mikhail) were engineers and designers of ZOID parts and systems. They had been creating a top secert system for the Helic Republic when the Back Draft killed them. Maya was only 4 and her sister (Nastasha) was 12. The two girls watched as their mother, father and brother were killed. Not only were her parents killed, but she was also taken with them, to be raised into the Back Draft and one day become something great within the Back Draft ladder of power. This was to become true, but not after many fall outs and other disturbing things happen to the young Maya. During her stay with the Back Draft, Maya was trained by William Jacobs, the man that took over being her father. She was treated like his daughter, but never did she forget about her mother, father and brother as well as her living sister, where ever she might be. When it came to her best friend Mirya Onashi, who was also growing up in the Back Draft ranks, they were close like sisters. Always telling each other things and trusting each other with their lives. While working for the Back Draft, Maya met Dean McInteera, around the time she was 17. The man was a sweeping gentalmen whom she quickly fell in love with. The night Dean left on a mission he told her he would be back yet, he never contacted her in anyway and never returned. Though, she didn't know it, he had left on a mission and when he returned was going to ask her to marry him. But before his return Maya was sent on a mission with Mirya Onashi to steal her sisters zoid (Sin Scythe), which was also her fathers old zoid. Many things happened in the town of New Haven, where her sister was and where the zoid was, but Maya refused to steal Sin. This disappointment put her on the hit list for the Back Draft & Dean McInteera was sent to kill her. Dean on the other hand couldn't do his job either and then was relieved of his duties and sent away by commander Cavolo (Miryas uncle) After the stuff with Dean, Maya left New Haven (MardukXuls RPG) and went to Nemix with Mirya and her team (Squadra Lupo Nero). Then regaining her membership with the Back Draft she quickly regained their trust. But in the process, losing her best friend to a coma. Maya also lost her team, Squadra Lupo Nero was left in rumble and then the whale king was blown up, for the second time. The things left the girl distrught and a little on edge. Though she did soon again join another team. The new team being, Team Dark Moon, though she is still a member of the Back Draft at the same time. Then her sister Nastasha, who came back from her travels around the planet, has re-entered her life and is willing to be the sister that she needs. Maya on the other hand had doubts about the whole situation. She never really had much of a knack for getting close to people since the last few she had been close to either try to kill her or got hurt her trust is slightly thin. But she let her sister get close, taking her time to get to know her once more and soon became close again. While she was in the city of Nemix, Maya fell in love with a man named Ishigami Shimeru after meeting him in battle, despite her lack of trust in people she soon was desperatly in love with the man. Things happened, sparks flew and they were together for a while. But not too long, for Nastasha was again in danger from the Back Draft and Maya had to help her. She left her lover and went with her sister and her husband to help them. Though while she was gone, she began to get sick and soon found herself in the hospital. While she was in the hospital Maya found out that she was pregnant, she was 19 then and alone. The girl was scared but there was no way she would get rid of the baby. Though she did hide it all well from everyone. And she did indeed know who the father of the child was. Though she made no move to contact him about the baby and kept to herself for a long time, staying with the Back Draft for support till the child was born. He was a wonderful little boy that brough so much happiness to Maya's sad life. But the happiness did come to an aburbt end. While Maya was on a mission, the base that her son was on fell under attack. There were no survivors that anyone knew of. The base was close to Daikoku so the grave of the little boy can be found in Daikoku Cemetry, his name was Kenjiro (Kenji) ShinriKiyaru Katsuragi. After the death of her son Maya quit the BD and drifted for quite some time. Her mind was set on trying to find who killed her son and why. She would exact revenge upon the sick people that would kill an innocent little child. While she was gone she met Krystilli at a trading post in the ruins of New Haven City. There they became good friends and soon Maya found herself back in Daikoku trying to move on the best she could. Soon after going back to Daikoku, Maya met up with an old friend, Randall Flagg. Randall was soon to become a love interest to her but things with him were never meant to be from what she could tell. As well as this little bit of news, she also learned of her son still being alive. The story that followed was terrible. The woman whom she had been friends with in the Back Draft had save her son from the ruins of the base, but she had never returned the boy to his mother. Maya had been forced to believe that her son had died in that base. But when she learned that she had been wrong all along she set out to find her son, and find him she did... Maya had found her son again, though; she had to leave him once more not even an hour later. The boy was intelligent and knew what was going on he knew he needed to stop it so that is what he would do and Maya could not stop him. So she was forced to leave her son in the hands of a terroist group by the name of the Dark Centurian. Now she knows of her son is alive, but cannot help him in anyway that she knows of yet. So yet again, Maya is alone and unable to help her son. Maya, again being rather careless and worried over her son had gotten into an accident. During a battle with an ultimate x where she had attempted to save her ex team leader, Azrael Delaz, she was severaly injured. The BD had come to take her zoid, but instead they took her, mostly because the zoid was petrified because the UX had peirced its core with a blade. But still, now she is in the care of the BD once more and soon to have a very interesting position among their ranks. The rank she was given was Back Draft Leader, for the section that watched over Daikoku and Tallarn as well as the few surrounding towns and villages. Though this was a new thing for her, and she took it well. Holding a place of power was always a good thing. Though she is striving to prove herself not only to her members but to the Duke, she still has not forgotten the real reason for all of this. Kenji, her son. As things moved on, Maya moved the remains of her Blade liger to the Back Draft base, she would have her zoid back in due time, it was all in her plans. Though she was to get her son back, as well as her organoid, Lasher. The copper raptor who was once part of Sin. Her mind was set on getting her life back together as well as her family. Though things stepped in the way, her old love came back, Ishigami, only to stand almost in the way of getting her son back. But she pushed past the shock of seeing him again and tried to figure out how to get her son. In due time she learned that her son was being held at the Kitzuma Corporations base just outside of Tallarn, a local resort city in the region. She was to go there on business with the back draft, but things began to fall then. She began to have feelings for an old friend, Kip Mandahl. She had made deals with him and trusted the man with her life, but she needed to get her son back before she could even think of her happiness and her future with anyone. Her plan now is simply to get her son back and destroy Kitzuma and the people who ordered her son taken from her. Appearance: Maya's short blonde hair goes to just above her shoulders, her bangs hang down to just above her clear blue eyes. Her blue eyes change some as her feelings intensify, the shades changing from dark to light. She stands about 5'8" and radiates a 'dont fuck with me' type vibe now. Her clothing is never anything very provocative. Mostly dress clothing, as she is the commander of the BD she must make some sort of statement. Her colors of choice are usually plain. Browns, tans, blacks and grays. She doesn't really wear many real colors anymore. Not that she cares much. Her clothing does change however, sometimes she may be in her BDO uniform, and others she will just be in casual wear yet it always does have a dressy look to it. |
