Before I fall asleep I'd like to take a minute to speak with you.
I have done many things in my life that I am not proud of.
But you make it easier to look at myself in the mirror.
You reassure me that those were my actions and not a part of me.
What I do does not define me.

I'd like to ask you to please lie down with me tonight.
Hold me close while I fall asleep.
Prepare me for what is to come with dreams that will only make sense in time.

Please give me Strength,
So that I can stand tall when the earth crumbles beneath me.
Please give me Courage,
So that I won't feel the need to run away from the life that was given to me.
Please give me Knowledge,
So that I can learn from my mistakes and comprehend what is going on in this world.
Please give me Love,
So I can show compassion to others.
Angels,
Above all this that I ask for,
Please give me hope.
Hope for a brighter day tomorrow than of yesterday.
I cannot live without Hope in my heart.
Angels,
I have always believed that everything happens for a reason.
And you have never shown me otherwise.
Thank You for loving Me.
