| What is the Mad-City Nickers Youth Club? Its the American Saddlebred Horse Association youth club located at La Fleur Van Ess Stables. At monthly meetings, lesson kids learn about horses (specifically saddlebreds) through fun, factual activities. Sometimes we take field trips to horse-related events in the area. Recently we have attended the Midwest Horse Fair, the Madison Classic Horse Show, and W.I.S.H.S. horse show. Interested in attending? The next meeting is April 12th at 12:00. | La Fleur Van Ess Stables is located in Verona, Wisconsin. Trainers, Neva VanEss and Marlene LaFleur have been working with american saddlebreds for over 25 years. Their new custom stable complex was completed in May 2002. With, at most, ten shows to visit each year, everyone at LVS stays pretty busy. |
