Katsuhito later reveals he is Yosho, the greatest Jurai swordsman. |

| Tenchi's grandfather Yosho is descended from Jurai royalty. To avoid a bloody conflict, he relinquished his claim to the Jurai throne years ago in favor of a life on Earth. Yosho is a great warrior and a learned teacher. When he sees the potential in Tenchi's abilities, he decided to instruct his grandson in the ways of the Jurai.
