I was Born in Cheboygan, Michigan on March 4, 1974. Growing up, I lived in Missouri, Ohio, Connecticut, and Georgia. I went to Norcross High School in Georgia (Class of '92) and Clemson University in South Carolina (Class of '96). I majored in Chemical Engineering and worked at Eastman Chemical Company in Kingsport, Tennessee from June 1996 to May 30, 1999. I quit my job at Eastman in order to go to medical school...and started at Emory Univeristy in Atlanta, August 1999.
After quitting my job in May of 1999 and before starting medical school in August of 1999, I travelled alone out west on a 80 day road trip! Above to the left is me at White Sands National Monument in Alamogordo, NM.
