It was the year 2000 when I decided to make a site for my poems as well as for my favorite poetries from some famous poets in history. Well for me poetry is a self expression of my innermost feelings about life in general and love in particular. I don't really claim to be a poet that's why I call myself an Amateur Poet whose only wish is that you'll learn to appreciate the simple contents of my poetry. There is no particular style or rythm in my poetry I just wrote them the way I want it to look and feel. There are 5 pages for my poetry which is the Amateur Poet I, Amateur Poet II, Amateur Poet III, Amateur IV & Amateur V. You can see some of the first poems I wrote in Amateur Poet I which covers between 1992 till 2000. There are six poems in Amateur Poet II whose inspiration came from varied topics like the death of my kittens, the conflict between my workmates, raging emotions and desires. The poems are all written in 2000 while Amateur Poet III is written last 2001. Amateur Poet IV is all about haiku and Amateur Poet V is dedicated to all my friends. I have more than 50 poems in here so just stay awhile and look what's in store for you.
