Short CV
Yael Unterman was born in Jerusalem, in 1971. She grew up in Manchester, England, and returned to Israel to study following high school. After two years in Midreshet Lindenbaum (Bruriah), a women's yeshivah, she attended Bar-Ilan University, and graduated with a degree in Psychology and Talmud. Over the next few years, she gained experience teaching Torah to various ages and populations, facilitating Jewish identity seminars in the IDF, writing, and doing educational theatre. In 2002 she earned her MA in Jewish history from Touro College.
