The Yakuza Rejects Linkshell began when my brother, Kwong, and I, Kazeko, finally saved up enough money to purchase a linkshell. Granted, we didn't know many people, but it was a start. I bought the shell from the shop in San d'Oria, and we began thinking over various names and colors.
The color was pretty much certain, it was to be dark red color. (At least, we hoped it would be a dark red color... you can never be too sure with the linkshell setup screen... a dark red could very well turn out to be pink...). The name, however, was a much more difficult decision.
Somehow, we decided on a more Oriental/Asian theme, considering both our character models were decidedly the most Asian-looking models there are. We went through many variations containing words like "Shanghai" or "Shaolin" and whatnot. But then, we remembered an old comedy movie called "Adrenaline Drive". In it, they mocked the Japanese Yakuza, one of the leading crime syndicates in Japan.
...and so, we're the Yakuza Rejects. ^^;
Our first member, besides the two of us, was a TaruTaru we passed in La Theine. He asked my brother, being party leader, if he could join us. Up until that point, my brother and I had not partied outside of with each other. We gladly accepted, however, and went along our way. Before long though, we had to logout, arranging a time to meet again (which was missed due to miscommunication... we forgot about Time Zones... o.O;;).
And so our linkshell began. ^^
As of now, we're just a little ragtag group of friends in Final Fantasy XI. We're around level 18 or so, although currently, we're leveling our subjobs.
