450 Korean Fans Memorialized Gorgor in Korea

Yesterday more than 450 Korean fans gathered at the "Yue Loy Chee" Temple located North of Seoul. Gorgor was memorialized in the highest honor in hoping that he will rest in peace.
This ceremony was hosted by the Korean company that distributed Leslie's last movie "Inner Senses". The organizer wanted the event to be orderly, therefore fans must register via the web, and it was first come first serve. Out of more than 20,000 fans from the Internet Fan Club, only a few hundred were able to attend. The majority of attendees wore black and everybody brought a white chrysanthemum. A ribbon was worn on their lapels. They all sat in a half kneeling position inside the temple. Almost everyone broke down crying, and some sobbing uncontrollably when they looked at Gorgor's portrait.
Initially this Korean distributor was going to invite Leslie Cheung, Tong Tong, the director of Inner Senses and female actor Lam Ga Yan to Korea to do publicity for the movie which coincides with its premiere on June 10th. |
