That Saturday, 500 of his fans turned up for a candle light vigil outside the hotel organized by his fan club. The block next to the Hotel was shut down. (News Photo) >> |
April 8th was Leslie's Cheung Official Funeral. Starting at 6pm-8pm. Fans could go and visit the funeral parlor and pay respects. Which I attended. The photos on pages 3-8 are from that day. I tried to Recreate The Experience On These Pages.... |
The response was so huge that Leslie's family allowed the doors to open an hour early, and ended it and hour and a half late. Many people who came after work were unable to get in. Estimated 7000 people went though, but another 3000 turned up (that's according to the Hong Kong papers report.) |
