On November 1, 2001, I woke up from a sound sleep with such a pain in my low back that I could not get out of bed. My husband had to get me up by pulling my arms and assisting me after he got me sitting up. I could not attend to my personal needs at all. I stretched and did everything I could think of to help myself. I called my doctor who told me to come in for x-rays and muscle relaxers. I decided to call Betty Yates, an acupuncturist for many years. I made the appointment for November 8, 2001. She treated me with moist heat, acupuncture needles (they don't hurt) and the most wonderful massage. I have received four treatment now and I feel really great, not only is the pain gone but I have more energy and of course I'm not putting muscle relaxers in my body.
I've seen Ms Yates, for four visits now and I feel brand-new. I can get into my car now without lifting up my left leg and placing it into the car and I go about my daily activities without pain in my low back. Ms Yates is a wonderful acupuncturist and person. She is caring and very attentive to her patients.

I just wanted to thank you for the wonder acupuncture care that you provided. You made me feel comfortable, and were careful and attentive to my concerns about pain. You are very thorough with treatment, which is a rarity these days. You score high marks in my book any day!!!

I had the good fortune to be treated by Ms. Betty Yates starting in 1988 when she was recommended to me by a highly respected orthopedic doctor. He strongly believed that she could help me with a number of very serious pain-related problems I was experiencing for a long time, including acute arthritic pain.
I was treated by Ms. Yales for an excruciating painful sciatica nerve condition which causes severe pain in the back buttocks, hip and passes to the pelvis and down the thigh. I was unable to work, but worse,I could not walk.
I had tried accupuncture several years earlier but did not experience any satisfying results. After 2 sessions with Betty, I couldn't believe how good I felt afterward. I experienced a major improvement in every painful area of my body. I attribute my greatly improved condition to the great knowledge and skill Ms. Yates possesses in her field.
Another extremely painful period occurred in the early 90's and Betty treated me for work-related repetitive trauma caused by computer usage and an ergonomically unfriendly work environment. My entire right side was affected and I could not work. Again, Betty's accupuncture treatments brought roe back to good condition and I was able to return to work in a short time.
There is no doubt in my mind that the treatments and care that Betty provided me made it possible for me to continue working into my late 60's. I feel very grateful to her.
