| Dariablue Review She crawls in showly and the first song is, "Rockers to Swallow," and the crowd cheers. Suddenly i feel the energy in the room rise, i think to myself its going to be a good show. Rockers to Swallow, Pin, Tick, Poor Song, Down Boy, Date With A Night, Black Tongue, Cheated Hearts, Maps, Art Star, Our Town ( its out of order and i think i missed something for some reason) The best parts of the show, "Its Our Time sweet Karen..." (Hahhah that fan is awesome) and Karen: You better fuckin' cheer for Brian (or something in that context) funniest shit ever. Coolest part the whole show, the crowd the rowdy, i danced, sang my little heart out, i jumped, took pictures like crazy, and moshed. At the end everyone was going crazy, i really liked that vibe it encouraged those that are too shy to mesh with those that are out of control, which is amazing. One of my top fave shows thus far. |
| LIVE 105 Review adrian leon i attended the live 105 secret show in san francisco 3/15/04. the show took place inside a small private room at the metreon in union square san francisco. about 30 people attended the show. all basically were music executives and friends, big fans who won tickets, and us. they performed an acoustic session: porcelain, maps, a bjork cover, and our time. then questions with the band were followed. very special show. 105 Live Review christiane dolezal Tthey played a small room with a small audience. i heard that since not many ppl here or at least the ppl who won tickets didnt really know who yeah yeah yeahs were and so during studio sessions karen felt really uncomfortable becasue she said it felt like no one liked her and the band. i also heard that after the show people were saying they sucked so yeah yeah yeahs felt akward. they didnt do an in studio type thing it was a show and they played some new songs, and some old. it was good, only if people hadnt been so unnecesarliy retarded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| London Forum 15th April 2004 Lomax review WOW! It was great. Highlight was Pin. Low-light was annoying Crowd Surfers. Jumping for 90 minutes was crazy. I cant believe it was you guys that sung to our time! A great moment! The whole easeter egg in the mouth was comedy, and so was the all-in-one suit Karen wore for the encore. The new tracks sounded good, and got a good reception. REally good night. Support were shite though. Both. The outside T-shirts were better than the inside tops, so don't get an inside top. WOW! What a night! Von Bondies in 2 weeks time! Support from ImaR! WOWEE salon 21 , mexico 22 sept 2004 (oscar daniel villanueva dorantes) so here is a quick review of the second concert you dont have to put this on the page , -22 sept- (only had tickets for that one), its was incredible, karen-o danced around all over the stage , spitting water, putting the microphone in her mouth and singing with two at the end, lasted about an hour and a half, much longer than i expected. a lot of energy and the songs sounded diferent live, longer intros, much heavier , especially y-control. |
