Thanks to Sam Chater I could'nt have said it better

Both the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s earlier releases were flirty teases.  They were samples that sucked in anyone with an ounce of scenester in them.  Their first EP had no name for god sake; the suggestive title of ‘Master’ was my favourite though.  Who could resist a band so confident, so natural, so goddamn cool.  The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s spread their hotness around unselfishly too - when I shake my hair on the dance-floor I am as sexy as Karen O, as arty and angular as Nick Zinner and as comfortable as Brian Chase. Their first EP was as primitive, as it was complex.

argue whether Machine EP was a good follow up or not (and it was, you band of teases), the true test is with a full album.  The anticipation to see if they could pull off a debut.  It was the concern of every Yeah Yeah Yeah’s fan across the globe.

‘Fever to Tell’ demands a similar obsessiveness to the EP, perhaps even more so due to greater variety of songs.  The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s have found a great sound and that makes their album cohesive, while allowing them to play with sound, timing and style.  This debut album is a work of bubblegum avant-garde art rock and don’t let anyone else tell you any different.
