EGYPT
Africa has always been on top of my list.  Many Chinese girls of my age grew up with the adventures of a Taiwan writer called San Mao in the Sahara, and the love story between her and a Spanish guy.  The environment was tough but she could always find beauty and smiles in life.  Both San Mao and her beloved husband have left us for many years, but the dream lives on, and I want to go to Africa!

Egypt, the ancient of ancient civilisations, is my very first step onto this continent.  Spending four weeks, I dived in the Red Sea and travelled around the magnificent land.  Time does not seem to be at work here and I could have just wandered on and on hadn't it been for the call of my obligations in the other world.  How I hated to leave!

My trip started with a week's liveaboard diving from the boat Juliet.  We had a very helpful crew and the dive guide Alex was superb.  Hope next time when I get back into the water, I will remember all that I have learned this time and be better at buoyancy control  :)  I was not able to take any good pictures underwater this time, so instead, I have decided to record my log book here so that you can share my joy everyday.  Happy diving!
