About Ranma ½
Ranma ½ is about a teenage boy who has many adventures. Who is non other than Ranma Saotome, age 16. The last tne years of his life was spent training with his father Genma Saotome. They both practice the Saotome School of Anything Goes Martial Arts. Which specializes in arial combat. Through the course of his travels Ranma had a best friends at the age of 6, Ukyou Kounji who was striving to become and okinomiyaki chief. They played together when they were young and Ranma thought _she_ was a _he_ which creates a lot of problems later in the fiancee fiasco later in the series.
Later after many years Ranma attends an all boy school and meets someone named Ryouga Hibiki, who has the worst sense of direction imaginable. Soon after father and son venture of into China where they visit Jusenkyou which is located in China. Legend has that if anyone fell into one of the springs there they would be cursed to turn into whatever last drowned there. You would think something like this wasn't real but your worng. Genma fell into the spring of a drowned panda and knocked Ranma into the spring of a drowned girl. After the horrifying event that took place they headed to an Amazon village where his father's stomach took control and ate the prize of the tournament that was taking place. Because of this Ranma in female form had to fight the winner to gain the prize but only succeeding in getting the winner, Shampoo, angry and she gave him the Kiss of Death. Now Ranma is hunted but makes it to Japan to only find that his father engaged him to a daughter of the Tendou family. They are Kasumi, 19; Nabiki, 17; and Akane, 16. Naturally Akane gets elected because of age similarities and other factors.
Soon they get aquainted and they see to like each other adn just when they do get close to being together the chaos starts to appear. Old rivals, and fiancees come looking for our hero and it seems that Akane is always stuck in the middle. There is always hidden romance between Ranma and Akane even though they don't admit it it's very clear. Akane always does thiings for Ranma against her better judgement if her were in trouble and and vice-versa. The only thing keeping them apart are the outside influences, that and the fact that they are scared about rejection to really admit what they want. Mayhem ensues and things seem to not want to get resolved. ^^ No matter what happens one thing will stay constant. Ranma will always say and do stupid things and Akane will always punish Ranma for it. That's our lovely couple and I wouldn't change a thing about it. _Unless_ of course it was an Alternate Universe. Then I would change things.
