The Borg-Warner 4-speed T-18's is all cast iron, including the top cover.  they also
have a PTO ports (the jeeps have one on the drivers side and my ford version has
one on both sides (Hmm) They are easily idenitifed be the "T-18" or "1301"  cast
into the side. there are 2 different gear ratios available,
  the Close Ratio,
     1st- 4.02:1
     2nd- 2.41:1
     3rd- 1.41:1
     4th- 1.00:1
     rev- 4.73:1
  the Wide Ratio,
     1st- 6.39:1
     2nd- 3.09:1
     3rd- 1.68:1
     4th- 1.00:1

     rev- 7.43:1
above and to the right are pictures of a Jeep
T-18 with a Dana 20 adaptor and output
gear (it also has the short input shaft)
Below is another Jeep T-18, this one also
has the output shaft for the dana 20 (without
the adaptor or gear) but this one has a very
long input shaft.
to the Left is a Ford 2WD version of the
T-18, is has the granny low 1st gear and
a very long output shaft.
