Hatha Yoga ‘Hadha Yoga' deals with the physical body and control of breath (Pranayama), and is conducive to health and longevity. In the word ‘Hadha' the first syllable ‘Ha' means the Moon (Ida Nadi) and the second syllable ‘tha' means the Sun (Pingala). These compound to the breath, which flows through the left and right nostrils. ‘Hadha Yoga' teaches the way to unite the Sun and the Moon; the Prana and Apana through the regulation of breath.


Hadha Yoga teaches asanas (postures) that enables the body to remain comfortable, while doing Pranayama, exercises involving breathing.

Yogic exercises are part physical and part mental or a combinationof both which are intended to create a balanced, calm, healthier and a happy person by improving the physical body and the mind's mental and meditative faculties.
