Since 1989, Pack 916 has been chartered to the Wesley United Methodist Church, in beautiful White Oak, PA .
Our pack now numbers 66 Cub Scouts. This year we have 2 Wolf Dens, 1 Bear Den, 2 first year Webelos Dens and 2 Second Year Webelos Dens. We also have a fine group of 9 new Tiger Cubs! Every Cub Scout Pack depends upon dedicated parents to help with the pack program. Our Pack has a small group of very dedicated Leaders! Visit them here! Cubmaster Bruce Nelson and Committee Chairman Barbara Tomko are entering their last year as leaders with Pack 916. Mr. Nelson has been a leader for 10 years with the Pack and Mrs. Tomko has been a leader for 9 years. We are actively searching for replacements for them before they leave to work with Boy Scout Troop 916 beginning in February 1998. We also have openings for Assistant Cubmasters, Committee Members and various Event Committee Chairmen. Call Barb Tomko or Bruce Nelson for more details! Our dens have been actively meeting since October1. The first Pack Meeting was at 7 PM on October 28, 1997 at Wesley United Methodist Church in White Oak. Mr. Lou Shaw, from the White Oak Historical Society, presented a very interesting program about the history of the White Oak area.
