Madiline

Madiline is a fairly normal 16 year old. She lives with her mom in a small city near the coast. She goes to a small catholic school with her friend Sarah. But she also studies Magic with her grandfather.... who is a little "off". Magic is not her cup of tea though, Madiline has a tendancy to mess up spells.... I created Madiline to be totally punk rock, She is kind of like me.... we'll she's a lot like me..... I don't mean to do it but I tend to put a lot of myself in my main charcters so this character came easy to me and i enjoy drawing her

Sarah

Sarah is Madilines bestfriend, she's very energettic and sarcastic. Although her and Madiline haver there share of fun , Sarah tends to keep Madiline in line. Sarah is made after my twin sister Shelley, although she isn't Madilines sister she interacts with Madiline the way Shelley and I interact with each other.... although as of now I haven't introduced Sarah as being a main charcter in future issues she will be and I'm hoping you all will get a better understanding of her^^

Yoshamura (Yoshi)

Yoshi is a student of Madilines grandfather and not Madilines favorite person (sort of ^_-). He was trained to protect Madiline while she develops her magic ability. Madiline and him tend to act childishly towards on another. Yoshi is made up after my fiense, Ken. I guess I tend to put his personality in as the main guy charcter because he's the guy I'm closest too and know the best.

Grandpa

This is Grandpa.... smoking hi pease pipe^^. Actually I chose to make him Native American out of respect. I've read many Native American stories and many of them contain stories of magic and spirits so I thught it was fitting^^. In relation to Madiline he is totally sarcastic and humerous. He trained Madiline in the ways of magic, and thught Yoshi how to use his staff. He has a message that was passed down for centuries to give to Madiline. I guess I decided to add in the grandpa because I am very close to my grandparents and I know a lot of people aren't. But I guess I added him as lind of a tribute^^

Evil Bunny

evil bunny...... I got this from a stuffed animal that I have. I used it for a series of paintings and I was so sad when I was done (the paintings came out good though^^) . I guess that's why I decided to put it into my comics. Well this evil bunny is kind of a nussiance to Madiline. I mean how would you feel if your stuffed animal started talking to you? the origin of the evil bunny in the comic is the grandmothers house.... but before that who knows^^ I created the bunny after completing a still life watercolor series of a stuffed bunny that I got at a craft fair with my Grandmother. By the end of the series (3 months later ¬_¬) I was kind of sad to be done so I guess I relayed the bunny into my comic. Also I was inspired to do the style of the bunny after reading an American comic called Lenore. Very good comic too by the way^^

Akhiro

Akhiro came from the bunny.... at this point in the comic I haven't revealed too much about him and I'm not planning on it untill the third (and final) chapter of this story^^. So I don't want to tell you too much about him^^ He isn't created after anyone I know (thank God!). I guess I just came up with him. I had intentions of using him in an earlier comic that I was working on just before this one. But I decided to stop that comic and work on my style and skill for a while. And I'm glad I did^^. Some people have mentioned the clown like colar...... well that's because I HATE CLOWNS! THEY'RE EVIL AND SCARY!!!! So what better outfit for a bad guy ne?
