Heroin(e)'s Log 10/17:  I saw Peaches last night in Oberlin.  It was my 3rd time seeing her and again, I am shocked and amazed.  It was a passionate crowd, to say the least.  Well, if you've never seen Peaches (or you know if you have), she ends up stripping down to whatever outfit she's wearing on her latest album cover (this time, a leotard with a hand print on her waist, but that wasn't before she was just down to bra and panties).  She played three different guitars and had an interactive video with Iggy Pop for their song "Kick It" from the new album 'Fatherfuc*er'.  Great show.  I give it 4 out of 4 stars.  Electrocute opened and they were hot.

Heroin(e)'s Log 10/20: OK, OK.  I did it for Peaches, so...  I saw Enon at the Grog Shop Friday.  I was glad to finally see Roue, from right here in Cleveland.  Thunderbirds are Now played second and rocked the house.  I heard someone in Enon wasn't feeling well, so maybe that explains it, but they didn't maintain my interest.  Sorry, Enon.  I still love you guys.

More Blog.  10/24 - Saw Iron & Wine and Broadcast Wednesday.  Another great show for my repertoire.
Broadcast from the Warp Records site
10/27 - DJ Vadim , DJ First Rate and Blu Rum 13 rocked the house on Saturday y'all!  Booty's were a'shakin'.

10/24 - P.W. Long had some car trouble and had to cancel the show in Cleveland before heading to Europe.  Many fans were left sad.  Please come back, P.W.!  We had folks drive from Fort Wayne, IN to see you!  Have a safe tour.  See ya soon, we hope.
10/29 - Holy shit, world.  Parts & Labor, Tyondai Braxton, Brian Straw with Matthew Wascovich, and Katio?  Forget about it!  This show rocked my world.  Parts & Labor enhanced their show with incredible video images.  Ty B. sat cross-legged on the floor with a semi-circle of effect pedals to create deep, layered, sonic imagery and beauty.  Kaito followed-up with great noisy UK girl rock.  They sounded fantastic.  Sure, I'm exhausted.  Do you see how busy I've been?  It's all in the name of love, though.  This show gets 10 and 1/2 stars.  (Based on a totally different scale than Peaches, it's my prerogative.)  Wow.  Nearly spiritual.

11/7 - Ah, very late in coming.  Work tried to kill me this week.  I didn't like it very much; but I am here to tell the tale.  Halloween, right?  That was fun.  I dressed up like Run DMC in the 80's, and it turned out to be near the anniversary of the death of Jam Master J.  :(  Saw Beans, Prefuse 73 and DJ Nobody mixing between sets at the Grog Shop.  Warp Records gave me some good times this month...  Good Times.
