| 06/21. So how totally lame am I? Who would check back after all this time? Sorry. So, what's been going on with your DJ Heroin(e) of late? I've seen Clinic & Tortosie. Pit er Pat opened for Tortoise & they were super fun. I missed the Unicorns due to illness, I was sad. I missed Battles because I knew about them too late, and I was sad. I'm sure a lot of other more underground stuff has been going on since early May, but it's too late to document now. I'm enjoying my new show time before Stone Cold Bikini, but I am always really sleepy when I do my show and can't talk about all the things I want to. I try to get up at 4:30 & get it "2-gether", but I'm still tired. Nonetheless, I hope I'm building a fan base in Cleveland. | 5/6/04 (Hope you had a happy Cinco De Mayo). So, it's been a while. Thanks to the all the listeners who donated to WRUW during our annual telethon. We nearly hit our goal and we should be able to buy new music, a new board and all the things we need to sound great. THANK YOU. Secondly - the summer schedule was released today. As you should know if you listen to Total Earful, Matt Garvey is graduating and moving home to Philly-town, PA to see where the future will lead his math-MATT-ical mind... :o) I have been given the Thursday morning early bird drive time of 6-8 AM. It will just be me - doing Your Rx (aka Your Prescription). I hope you will tune in and enjoy. If Matt should come back through, he is welcome on my show anytime. We had a lot of fun this semester and I will be lonely for a while. And there you have it. |
