| Dave strolled towards the town centre at quite a leisurely pace, oblivious to the urgency of the occasion. Back at the caravan, Alex and Chas were trying to push Moses through the window. It was decided that this would be easier than thrying to pull him back as he had got far enough to be able to push with his arms on the outside of the caravan. Just as they were about to give up in dispair, there was a breakthrough and Moses scrambled out onto the grass below. After a few seconds of writhing on the ground in pain, he set off in search of Dave and the police. Dave was meandering through the funfair when a rabid looking Spaniel jumped out from behind the ghost train. Dave turned and saw him and started to run. Spaniel was much bigger than Dave had remembered - he now looked more like a pregnant basset hound - but his longer strides meant that he was soon able to catch up with Dave. He grabbed him by the collar and spun him around. Dave held up his hands in terror as Spaniel started to let fly with his fists... |
