Bakura Ryou is anther one of Yugi's friends. Originally Bakura was just another new classmate of Yugi's. Then Bakura went to the Duelist Island (for fun may I add!) and there he joined Yugi and his gang on their quest to the castle. Bakura is also the owner of the Millennium ring and the Millennium eye. Like Yugi's Millennium item (the Millennium puzzle), Bakura's ring contains a yami (a spirit in side a Millennium item). Also like Yugi's item, the yami spirit can posses Bakura's body, but unlike Yugi's yami, Bakura's is a tomb robber. Bakura's item also has the power to trap the souls of others in inanimate objects, detect other Millennium items, glide passage, erase memory, super hearing, the ability of transporting to the shadow realm, and allows him to use Duel Monster card powers out side a duel. Like Yugi, Bakura wears his item around his neck. Before Bakura joined Yugi in his journey, Bakura was stalking him on the island. Tea noticed him a couple of times. Once Bakura confronted Yugi they dueled. Yami Bakura sent all of Yugi's friend’s souls into their favorite card and Yugi used them in the duel. Bakura's Yami was just trying to get Yugi's Millennium item but to no prevail. Yugi sent Bakura’s yami back to the shadow realm. Later on the yami of Bakura's rig came back to him. Over all Bakura's yami is not a nice fellow, but Bakura is just the opposite. Bakura is a nice sensitive and caring person. |
