Description:
Grandpa is the grandfather of Yugi Motou. Grandpa takes care of Yugi and runs a card shop. Grandpa is the one who thought Yugi about the heart of the cards. Grandpa once went to Egypt to participate in a dig. There he met his good friend Arther Hawkins. While in Egypt Grandpa and Arther were trapped in a tomb. There they had a duel for the remaining water in the canteen. Grandpa noticed that Arther was becoming very dehydrated, so he eventually surrendered so that Arther could have the water. Arther then gave Grandpa the forth Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Kabia then hunted down the last Blue-Eyes White Dragon and dueled Grandpa for it. Grandpa lost so Kiba tore the card in half, so it could never be used against him. Grandpa also thought Joey how to play Duel Monsters but before his training was complete, Pegasus stole grandpa’s soul. Since then Yugi has used Grandpa’s deck to play Duel Monsters.
