Aino Minako - Sailor Venus

She met her guardian cat Artemis and became Sailor V. Before the Sailor Moon manga there was a whole Sailor V manga. I do believe there are times when the characters such as Ami (Mercury) and Mako (Jupiter) bump into Mina in Sailor V. Been too long since I read Sailor V. Mina is one of the most cheerful characters. She's vibrant and confident and is always smiling even though she does seem to have some sad stuff in her past.

Minako is Sailor Venus. I think almost everyone knows the name Aphrodite. Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love, often associated with Venus. You know...like Venus is Aphrodite, Mars is Ares, Saturn is Kronos, and so on and so forth. So, therefore, Venus is the senshi (or soldier) of love (hence Ai no Senshi as she calls herself). Her name also has to do with love. People may think Venus's colour is gold or orange, but I think it's yellow. Yellow represents attraction, activity, eloquence, confidence, travel, agility, happiness, optimism, luck, and faith. Venus is attractive because Aphrodite was one of the most beautiful goddesses. She's happy and cheerful, active in sports (volleyball), she's confident, and she used to live in England (travel). So yeah, that's Sailor Venus.

In the Moon Kingdom, before it was destroyed, Sailor Venus was paired up with Kunzite. Sailor Venus was one of the four guardians of the Moon princess and Kunzite was one of the four guardians of the Earth prince. Secretly they both loved eachother. The rest of the Sailor Senshi were also paired up with the other guardians of the Earth prince. (Mercury with Zoicite, Mars with Jadeite, and Jupiter with Nephrite) In one of my fanfictions I also have shown these pairings. Because of the anime lots of Sailor Moon fans couple Mina up with Yaten. However that did not exist in the manga since Mina loved Kunzite. Also, in Sailor V manga, some of the men she loved have been shown. She was in Sailor V placed under a curse that forbids her to ever be with the one she loves. Sailor V manga explains a lot about Mina.
