HISTORY OF ANIME XPERIENCE It took a long time for me to finally come up with the whole website. I had to study HTML coding, come up with a layout, name, color scheme etc. So I decided I'd keep a journal starting from when I first wanted to make a website, and guess what? You can read it here! ^_^;; Friday-23-November - I decided to make website after learning basic HTML coding on AA site. I needed to learn how to use NOTEPAD, instead of a page builder. Saturday-24-november - I went to various websites to learn and revise HTML coding. www.funky-chickens.com www.webmonkey.com www.pagetutor.com Page tutor shows how to start a webpage from scratch, ie: opening Notepad and how to check on current progress. Check it out, it's real useful if your a newbie! Sunday-25-November - Learnt most of the basic tags, but then had no clue on how to layout a page. Couldn't figure out how to make navigation bars and stuff. Tried really hard to understand tables, but I just couldnt get there. in the end,I used Geocities Table Maker! basically writes the HTML coding for tables u want. Started on a Logo for the site. Came up with the name 'Anime Realm'.. and also 'z3ro Realm' Made the logo in photoshop, took me like 3 minutes! just cut and paste 2 pics and added text. Monday-26-November - I Started work on the site. Had to keep refering back to html help sites, cos i dont remember the codes! ALOT of time wasting... Copied a lot of codes from other sites ie: different coloured scroll bar. Made a simple layout consisting of the Logo and a half done navigation bar, without any links. ~~~Of course at this time NOTHING was uploaded onto the net yet!~~ Saturday-1-December - Finally, finished a layout, and then searched for a host. I was lazy so I just used Geocities, but before this I had to use Photoshop to make the navigation fonts, gawd 5.0 sucks! Sunday-2-December - I began to upload all the pictures and stuff onto the server, damn it takes long.... Then I looked about for good Guestbooks, counters and forums. Also thought up of another section to put in (Warcraft 2) And decided on a final logo. Wednesday-12-December - Ok so I skipped a few days but now the site is ready to open, but there are hardly any sections up though :( ... Still alot of Gallery pictures to be put up and links to be made.
