Amsterdam is a city of canals, bridges and boats. |

A good way to get to know Amsterdam is to just stroll down a canal and see what you run into. |

This particular houseboat has a garden shed on a barge docked next to it. A bit of green on the water. |

|
|
The old city of Brugges in Belgium is another city of canals. These canals seem more like moats than the canals of Amsterdam. They also don't have people living on them. |
