Paris 2002 |

These view are from Paris. I was there for three day in early November. Just about the time I was figuring out my way around town, it was time to leave. |

The most famous windmill in Paris isn't real, it is part of the cabaret Moulin Rouge. The show is expensive, but quite fun. Moulin Rouge does for the strip club what Cirque du Soliel does for the circus. I recommend going if you're in Paris. |

While the Moulin Rouge isn't a real working windmill, there are two just up the hill from them. At one point, this part of Paris was know for it's windmills. |

This is a detail from the entrance to Notre Dame. It is a depiction of Saint Denis, who is supposed to have taken a stroll with his severed head after his decapitation. |

Paris is known for art and romance. I took this picture of a young lady looking over the shoulder of a street artist who was drawing her boyfriend. Is this love? |

Caught in a sudden downpour, I looked up to see this spectacular double rainbow. |

As I was looking to get the best angle on this rainbow, I came out onto the main street and saw that the rainbow appeared to begin at the Louver and end at Notre Dame. You couldn't ask for a more perfect moment. Within a few minutes, the light show was over. |
