Apart from these games, there were also various activities throughout these four days such as singing, dancing, off roading, films, children's activities, demonstrations by the Civil Protection Depratment and also a show by mechanical horses (trailers), which took the attending public for a ride around Mosta.
Activities for this Marathon kicked off with an absailing feat on the 2nd December at the Mosta square. Mosta scouts descended down the facade of a prominent building and hanged 2 promotion banners.
A total of Lm1536.05 (Eur3870) were collected which were donated to id-Dar tal-Providenza at Siggiewi on the 6th February 2002. This home houses most of the physically handicapped in Malta. |
